Rossi Loft
History
The Rossi Loft was founded in 1958 by Ernie Rossi (deceased),
over 40 years ago. The early emphasis was placed on long
distance flying predominantly, but the Rossi Loft changed its
focus in the late 1980’s. The reason for change was viewed by
its current manager, Tony Rossi (son of the founder) a step to
the future millennium. Tony realized the sport is changing.
Emphasis from local level competition to broad fronts and
national, even international competitions are common! This
global expansion will change pigeon racing forever!
The sport is growing and will
continue, but in a different style. It is now possible to send
birds to many open band races, auctions, stake races and compete
for huge monetary prizes from your small loft in the backyard,
with very little effort! Yes, we feel this is fantastic. For
this reason, we feel it is more important than ever that the
"small lofts" obtain the super stock pairs needed to
compete on a national level or for that matter,
"internationally", and win!
